It’s impossible to highlight all of the awesomeness happening in teaching and learning on TikTok. Our hope is to introduce you to some educator creators that we’ve learned from and have made us smile recently. :) Dive in, explore, and take some time to learn from these educators. You won’t regret it.
We shared some of our favorite educator creators in an earlier post, but with all of the awesome content being created every minute, we thought it was worth highlighting even more educators that provide information, inspiration, and yes, entertainment.
A quick recap:
TikTok is a video-sharing social media platform where users make short-form videos, up to 3 minutes.
It is a place where people come to learn.
We love to learn.
Most recently, Social Media Examiner revealed in their 2021 Social Media Marketing Industry Report, that only nine percent of marketers are currently using TikTok and sixty-eight percent don’t plan on using it in the next year. There are two ways to look at this. One way could be no one is using it, so you shouldn’t. Another way to look at it is that this is an opportunity to gain the attention of your target audience in a channel that’s not as competitive as other channels. Remember, whatever platform you choose to be on, make sure you do it right and provide consistent and valuable content.
A quick heads up before you dig into these videos: These educators are listed in no particular order, and TikTok is generally not appropriate for a school setting. Some TikTok videos contain foul language or crude humor. Please keep this in mind as you begin to explore this platform.
