Using the right hashtags on Twitter can dramatically increase the reach and engagement of your tweets. In education, there are thousands of hashtags being used every day on Twitter and they’re changing every day. Hashtags in education include education Twitter chats, conference-related hashtags, and specific hashtags that represent location, grade level, and various topics.
With so many hashtags, figuring out which hashtags to use and when to use them can be daunting. To help, we created this list of education hashtags with the highest reach (in terms of hashtags exposure per hour in impressions, provided by RiteTag on August 18, 2021). We then divided this list into some popular education categories to make it easier to digest.
Before you dive into this list, it’s important that you understand how to use hashtags. These key Twitter hashtag best practices can help. Also, since the reach of hashtags is constantly changing, the number of impressions reflected in this blog post will most likely change over time. We recommend that you use one of these Twitter hashtag tools to verify that the hashtag’s impressions are the most accurate and you can also use them to discover new hashtags.
